How much prices below retail can you buy cars at an auction?

I am trying to get my used car dealer license. I have never been to a car auction before. Normally, how much $$ below retail can you buy cars at an auction? Let’s say good condition 10 year old Honda or Toyota or Nissan - How much can you buy them for?

I am having trouble selling a car that I have to sell to pay the bank off. iTs a 1998 Hyundai Tiburon, I have tried craigslist and various other sites and am running out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated

I live in Indiana and am wanting to purchase a police that is at auction. But I dont know were they auction them at…and I dont know if I have to be a Dealer or not….and if I have to be a dealer to buy from an auction how do I become a dealer…etc etc. I know this is a sad question for a cop to be asking…. Me and my wife have 1 vechile and 6 kids I work another job also and have to have her take me to work to it…. so I am looking for a SUPER CHEAP car.

I know usually you shouldn’t buy high mileage cars, but is 110,000 miles on a well kept Honda Accord just way ?

too much? It has had one owner, and car has been very well kept according to Carfax, and Autocheck. The dealership is asking for 9500, and the value of it is at about 10500

Well not really “ME” buying and selling, BUT helping people sell their cars for them….you know writing an add, taking calls, showing and selling the car. Or helping people search for a car so they can purchase it. I would charge a fee in either case of course.
Do I need a dealer’s license or any kind of license or not? Again these are not MY cars.
