I am getting ready my Christmas list for my gal pals. What should I get them?

It’s close to Christmas (or so the department stores say) and I’m making the Christmas list to get for my gal pals. I am wondering what I should get them, that’s not too expensive but not too cheap and plastic. I was thinking earrings, but those can be expensive if you want to buy nice ones. I am not really good at *making* jewelry so that’s out. Help me?

what should i buy my dad for christmas?

my dad is 52 years old, and quite introverted. he doesn’t drink, but isn’t religious. he likes golf, indy car racing, crossword puzzles, and history shows but here is the thing….. i’ve gotten him EVERYTHING that has to do with those hobbies!!!!! it would be redundant for me to get it again.

to make matters worse, i got my mom a sweet kate spade purse she really wanted so i feel like if i get my dad a half-assed present he’ll feel bad. :(
so are there any gadgets, or generic gifts you can think of that don’t scream “i put no thought into this” ???

Why do we do this to ourselves at Christmas?

Why is it that every year at Xmas we are so busy trying to fit it all in? I mean the lines at the local pharmacy today was insane! Malls are at their limits! Friends are blogging how overwhelmed they are with obligations, buying, finances I am not particularly religious person at all, but this is not what the season is all about!
your right. this is a holiday for kids!!!
I don’t understand that answer to my question! But this holiday is not for kids my dear. It is the time of the year where we are suppose to be at our best, practice random acts of kindness and forget the commericialism of it all!
