The other person’s insurance company is “claiming” that the diminished value damages must be “actual” and “provable” and may not be speculative. They claim that Arizona law does not recognize inherent damages. I would like to get this proof of diminished value without having to sell my car.

To save some money, I’m having dental work done at university dental school. A temporary crown was put on two weeks ago. Yesterday I had appt for permanent crown to be put on, I drove over an hour to the school, only to have the student tell me he didn’t have the crown (he’d called me that morning to remind me of appt).
Not much I could do about it, and he rescheduled me for two weeks from yesterday to put on the crown (I’ll make sure he has it this time before driving 2 1/2 hrs round trip.
So my two questions:
1) The temporary crown became loose this morning - it’s still in place, but it’s loose. He told me when he put on temp crown that if it came off, just to go to pharmacy and buy something to adhere it. How much does that cost, will it work? If he, a dental student who graduates in May, can’t make it stay on, why should I think I can with something I buy at pharmacy?
2) I’m only in the area for the winter, and will be moving across country come March. Even though I’m getting it done cheaper at dental school, it’s still going to be costing me about $650 (but that includes gas money). What possible complications might occur later on (okay, I’m really concerned the crown he puts on won’t stay on, and I’m going to have to pay a lot (I don’t have dental insurance, don’t have much money) to get the work redone.
How often do permanent crowns come off (keeping in mind this is a student)? If I need to pay for work later on, can I hope that that dental school will help some with costs?
Thanks

About a year ago, I bought a 04 Honda Accord? I was planning on keeping it (forever) but there is a good possibility that I’ll be relocated across the country to Seattle. I knew when I bought the car, that I over paid for it. (Salesman got me into a 6 yr loan) I’m not having trouble paying for it, it just that I’ll be in Seattle where, they use public transportation more. I don’t want to waste my money, having it sit in a parking lot. I looked and I’m upside down in the loan. I owe about $18K and on KBB (private sale) its worth $12k. I am thinking about selling it and just getting a loan to pay off the difference. Or I was thinking of letting it sit (while in Seattle), and collect some equity on the car.. plus i won’t be driving it as much, so it shouldn’t depreciate as much as it did while I am here… putting 25k miles a year. Then in a year, sell it. I can also, save by suspending the insurance since I won’t be driving it. (my sister’s an insurance agent) Any other ideas?

When my Ford Focus broke down a few months ago, I told State Farm to take a hike. Awesomely enough, I’m about to pour tons and tons of money into getting said Focus fixed and I don’t believe in driving without insurance because I want to go to Heaven when I die. Thank you.

I am in severe pain in my lower back, sides, and abdominal area. I have been treated for this before in the hospital which resulted in a $2000.00 hospital bill (no insurance!) I need a VERY strong pain pill to hold me over until I get my health insurance from the military in about 3 weeks. Any1 know the strongest I can buy without a prescription?

My car broke down on me and I need to get a new one but I don’t make enough to pay a monthly payment plus insurance. So I was wanting to get a student loan to buy a car and that way I can pay it off after I graduate and get a better job.

I don’t have insurance but plan on seeing a doctor, getting a prescription for a scheduled drug, and then filling the prescription through and online pharmacy to save money.
How much would this cost? I often would I have to go back and see the doctor?

My friend bought a car for 3200. It was running perfectly fine and minor dents on it. You can say it was in great condition. It turns out that the car had a salvaged title on it before but now it had a regular title here in Illinois. I know what salvage/rebuilt titles are and nothing is really wrong with the car but my friend might have some insurance problems eventhough the car has a regular title now. Since he signed a bill of sale, is the deal finalized or can he do anything about it if the car is to malfunction?
