Getting Movies from iTunes?

I bought a few DVDs today and read some articles online telling me how to rip the DVDs and convert them to MP4 format so I can sync them to my iPod, but it takes way too long and I don’t have the time to do all of the steps to get the DVDs on my iPod. There’s just one movie I want on there at least, if I can’t get them all and iTunes has it for $10. The thing is, if I already bought it, I don’t see a need to pay for it again; if I contact Apple and show them the Proof of Purchase on the DVD, would they allow me to download the movie for free?
5 CommentsLike I said, I don’t see any logic in paying for a movie I already bought just to put it on my iPod. I don’t want to waste time calling Apple just for them to tell me it isn’t possible, when that (if you ask me) is nothing but a fair thing for them to do.
Any help would be appreciated!

I have some music albums that I bought. Some of them are soundtracks, but when I check on itunes or at a Walmart website, they list it under the Soundtracks genre. The songs can be pop and rock. On itunes, do I put the album under Pop Rock or Soundtrack? why?

I’m thinking about Jailbreaking my iPod touch, but I was also wondering if I do Jailbreak it. Can I still download Tv shows and Legal apps? And will they work on it?

I just bought my first movie for my ipod touch and I dont know where to find it on my ipod! I have a music video on there and thats under video.
It said it synced it and it was connected.

Can I buy MP3’s from a site other than iTunes and have it play on my iPod?

I have been buying some iTunes but they can’t play on certain things (my xbox for one). I’ve been debating purchasing from another MP3 site (i.e. napster or something) but not sure if they will play on my iPod. Is there any other sites that allow me to buy songs and play them on both my iPod and other electronics?

In itunes, when you buy a song what quality is it?

i wish to buy some albums on line, but i dont know what quality they would be…i am looking for the highest possible mp3 quality. I mean technical terms, like what bitrates, 300 something or 256 or 192…

My other computer screwed up and i was sick of having to reformat so i decided it was time to get a new one. I bought 2 albums on iTunes on that computer and want to know can i re-download them through my account on my new computer?

How do you buy an iphone on friday?

They say limit 1 iphone per customer. That’s cool, but don’t you need to sign a 2year contract with AT&T in order to get the iphone? So isn’t that billions of people buying an iphone at 6pm on Friday, AND opening a contract, which takes forever? Or do they just sell you the phone and you deal with the contract later… ? Please tell me if you know how it’s going down because I want to buy one.
