Should I purchase a ‘97 Saab 900 s convertible at $2,000 with 134XXX miles on it?

I have test drove the vehicle. Liked the drive, felt safe and it hugged the road. All lights, signals, and console units functioned properly. I took the car on the highway and drove 80mph seamlessly let go of the wheel and the alignment was good. Car suprised me with the acceleration and the steadiness of the car, it didn’t even feel like I was going 80mph! I just need to know what other Saab owners think about this vehicle and any suggestions on maintenance and repairs initially after I purchase the vehicle? Any help would be great as this is my first vehicle purchase on my own……thanks in advance

My girlfriend has nerve damage in her leg, which results in pain, what can I do without prescriptions?

My girlfriend has nerve damage in her leg, which results in mild, but constant pain. She won’t take prescriptions. Her diet isn’t great, but she’s healthy. Please give me something that she can do without prescriptions. She won’t take them, and she says she can deal with it, but it’s bad, and she won’t admit it. Is there anything I can do or buy for her that doesn’t involve surgery or serious meds? Thanks in advance.

How do I organize a bake sale?

To raise money for tennis camp, I will be hosting a bake sale. I have never organized a bake sale, so I need to know how to run one efficiently. I will be holding it at the office of my apartments during spring break. How much should I sell the items for (per slice, per cookie)? What should I sell? Thanks in advance for your answers. God Bless.

Advice?

I would like to become financially wealthy. I’m currently 18, and am set to start college in the Fall. I’m looking for any advice (or critiques of the advice I’ve listed below) that anyone cares to give me. Thanks in advance!

Here are a few things I’ve been told to do in order to become wealthy:

1. Attend college
2. Spend less than you make
3. Don’t go into debt (including the use of credit cards)
4. Invest in mutual funds and set up a Roth IRA
5. Never buy brand new cars; their worth depreciates as soon as you drive off the sales lot

Where can I find good and correct information regarding candidates running for office?

I would like to find a good website (or several websites) that will give me correct information regarding the candidates running for office (in the US), specifically for president. I don’t want opinions or link to blogs, or any far right-wing or far left-wing sites that sugar coats the facts to make their party look good. I’m looking for facts. I also make it a point not to vote for a specific party; I vote for the person who I feel will do a better job.

In the debates you always hear of one person bringing up they voted this way or that, but the other person says it’s a lie. I don’t follow every move the candidates make but obviously this is a critical presidential election coming up and I want to make sure my vote goes to the right person. Are there any websites that will give me good info? I will check out each candidate’s site, but I was wondering if there are any others?

Thanks in advance.

Can you demand proof that an advertised used car has been sold?

Texas mandates that dealers include the VIN number with each advertised vehicle. I’ve been shopping for a used car now for some time and on more than one occasion I have been told “That car has already been sold” only to see the same car advertised a week later with the same VIN number. Can I demand proof that this car, with that specific VIN number, has indeed been sold? I’m really concerned that the practice of bait and switch is far too common and that the dealers are betting on the common populace’s ignorance to not call them on it. I’m contemplating filing a complaint with the BBB, the state Attorney General’s office and the FTC for false advertising. I would just like to handle it on my own if I can. Thanks in advance.
